Introduction:
The Hospital Authority Convention 2016 (HAC 2016) was held on 3-4 May 2016. The foci of the scientific programme are the four Hospital Authority's core values, viz. "People-centred Care", "Professional Service", "Committed Staff" and "Teamwork". Aiming to promote the sharing of knowledge and experience on clinical advances and approaches to modern healthcare service, the Convention facilitates exploration and discussion of contemporary concepts among healthcare professionals and stakeholders. The HAC 2016 featured some 160 distinguished overseas and local speakers to share their knowledge and insights and interact with delegates at over 60 sessions. With the speakers’ prior consent, the Convention Secretariat videotaped most of the presentations.
