Different
Forms of Mycocardial Infarction
¡@ |
|
Regional forms of
infarction reflect a pathological or pathophysiological mechanism in
the coronary artery supplying that particular segment of the
ventricular mycocardium. Diffuse, nonregional infarction is usually
due to a fall in overall myocardial perfusion and is maximal in the
subendocardial zone. |
